Brain surgery

Had brain surgery a month ago and even on my beta blocker my heart rate is still in the high 70s to high 80s. Before my surgery it used to be high 50s low 70s. When will my heart rate get back to normal?

    Hey there

I've just talked to my mum she is a retired nurse she told me it could be a side effect from the anesthesia as it can take a while for it to get out of your system or it could be a side effect from your surgery itself. Just like being sick or dizzy after a surgery. Don't worry to much but remember to keep an eye out and she advised to see your doctor as soon as you can just in case.

    Good luck!
