Brain Tumor Paranoia.

Gonna try to make this easy to read smile

-I'm 21 year old male, my family doesn't have a history of any kind of brain tumors.

-Been suffering from Anxiety for more than 5 years, specially this year the Cyberchondria has been taking over my life, I have gone to the Doctors and had some medication but only works for a small amount of time.

-Here are the symptoms I have at this moment, hopefully somebody can help me here.

*It's been a week since I have been thinking that I have brain tumor

*Head doesn't hurt but weird pressure on both sides and front of my head. I feel kinda confused.

*Normal nausea, not severe, haven't vomited yet. But last night I had diarrhea but not intense.

*I still feel like something is wrong... I haven't gotten dizzy yet but there's this ''sensation'' that I will be dizzy(I don't know how to explain).

*Also started when I was looking up with my right eye upwards and it was hurting a bit, but not anymore.

Also, for the first 5 days I just couldn't stop looking about Brain tumors on the internet, I now have calmed abit and stopped searching. Been taking 0.50mg (Alprazolam) at night to calm myself.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

    Cyberchondria - love it!

Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in here, I'm only week 6 so far. cheesygrin

I've had some nausea too, and so far my only diagnosis is anxiety (seeing an ENT and neurologist soon) so it certainly sounds plausible! Apparently it can cause all of the symptoms you're experiencing, so I wouldn't go worrying about a tudor at all. (Intentional misspelling).

Check out some "list of anxiety symptoms" if anything, there are so many! I seem to be trying to cross each one off at the moment. Having fainted yet though, so that could be fun! lol

Thanks alot for your response, hopefully everything goes well for you!

It's a misery to be living like this, I don't need anything in life except for good mental health which I have never had, well, probably when I was under 10 I was fine haha.

No problem! Thank you very much. cheesygrin

Yeah it does suck! I actually feel a bit today for the first time in 6 weeks, so hopefully my mind is coming to terms with the fact that this is all anxiety.

Even balance issues/weakness can be caused by anxiety, which I found shocking and also re-assuring since I've had a bit of both recently.

If in doubt, get checked out.

The chances of having a brain tumor are super slim and also seeing the amount of people who think they have one on here makes me think it's all in your guy's head like all my problems. Now I can imagine if you had a migraine.. omg I had one a few months back for the first time and it felt like someone was drilling a nail in my head all day along with throwing up and blurred vision. I then googled tumors haha

I know... I always tell myself I won't look up the symptoms I have and 10 minutes later... BAM! There I am with 10 windows open and searching all kinds of symptoms...

I went through the brain tumor fear also lol. Mine has passed now that I eventually realized I did not have a brain tumor thanks to the reassurance of my doctor (I also see a therapist and highly recommend seeing one if you don't). I actually have a good friend of mine who had a brain tumor and her symptoms were nothing you described. She had balance issues (so bad she couldnt even walk right), and she had seizures for no reason, horrible headaches that would last for days and days, and some vomiting I believe too. All of the symptoms you described are ones I've had just from anxiety, so I really think thats all this is. I get diarrhea a lot when I'm nervous/anxious, I also get dizzyness, temple pressure and headaches, eye pains, I've had em all haha. I really would stop worrying, from what my Dr told me, and my friend with the tumor, if you had one there would be very obvious things wrong with you like not even being able to walk straight or having rlly severe headaches that don't go away, stuff like that. If your symptoms go away, don't get worse or get less when u are distracted thats a big sign it's just anxiety.

Hello there I’m going through this at the minute thinking I have a brain tumour too, I’ve had anxiety for nearly 3 years now, I’ve been to doctors countless times had ekg’s not had no mri scan or ct scan which I think I need just to put my mind at ease I worry about it everyday because I have headaches that usually come on mainly when I’m resting mainly night time I can also have them during the day whilst I’m working it’s mixed really. But makes me panic to think it’s something more serious I’ve had them for over a year now! I’m going to pay to have an mri scan done as my doctor won’t send me for one as they think it’s nothing to worry about!! I just need that peace of mind to know it’s nothinf serious.
