I’m going through this as we speak 😭😭 I’m terrified it’s a brain tumor but I have to calm down and realize that if it was I’d be throwing up or couldn’t talk.. doctor says it’s anxiety! I wish this would go away.

So mostly what your feeling is muscle and nerve pain most likely. Most people that have bad anxiety don’t realize that they are so tense but I would imagine your neck and shoulders are also very stiff even sometimes it hurts to turn your head left and right.when your muscles are so tense it pushes on your nerves and in your neck and shoulders all those same muscles and nerves run right around your forehead around your eyes top of your head. It can also cause tingling and numbness.

Always see your doctor if your really worried but if he says your fine I’d say try and find a way to relax. Good luck

I am a gymnast and I am ALWAYS sore because of conditioning and flipping. Maybe this is the reason, thank you, you have really really helped put my mind at ease💘

Do you have a history of anxiety?   This could be the reason for your symptoms.

just follow up with your doctor for peace of mind.

Listen to meditations on you tube for anxiety and proper breathing technique.

Even though you are young you can still have anxiety gymnastics is a very demanding sport with high expectations. My daughter is also 13 and a gymnast she also gets anxiety and has back neck and shoulder pain at times and worries just like you.

I have her In counciling and it really helps her to talk to someone. Also don’t be afraid to reach out to your parents they may not understand your feeling but will try.

This is coming from a father that has anxiety and I have a daughter with anxiety. Reach out to people close to you. Internet groups are good but your family friends and councilors can really help anxiety is nothing to be ashamed of it helps a lot to talk about it with people.

Thank you, I’m just so scared it’s a brain tumor but then I wonder like “oh I wouldn’t be able to go to school, and do gymnastics, and live life” and get other symptoms by now but I don’t know if that’s true😭😭
