Brand change

has anybody changed brands and really struggled and felt a lot worse.

when you changed back did it help? and how long did it take to feel better again. thanks guys x

      i think you need to change meds, youve been suffering for too long now, dont believe a word people say about "they take 6 months" etc, its completely untrue, they are at full effect at 6 - 8 weeks MAXIMUM x

      I agree with emily this has been going on far too long now, what made your Dr think that if citalopram wasn't working for you this time around escitalopram would? I have said this to you before and I know a lot of people on here will maybe not agree but I think you need to explore other medications that are not just ssri's.

      what ever you decide to do I sincerely hope you find some peace soon

    Yes I have had issues with brand changes. I asked my doctor to switch back and now request the exact brand I started on. I took the other grand for 6 days and then back to old brand and felt better within 2 days.
