Breast pain and a dimple

I've been having periods of pain in my right breast.  It feels like the ribs are sore, but I'm not sure.  Today I saw a shadow under same breast, almost in the crease.  I discovered it's a cm long dimple or pucker.

Now I've read on Facebook (and seen a photo) of a breast with similar, and that was definately breast cancer.

I can't feel any lumps, but where my ribs are it's tender to touch and a bit achy.

I did have a "breast mouse" for a good 20 years, and it seems the site of the dimple is where it used to be (I can't find the breast mouse anymore)

My gp is overwhelmed and I know it will be at least 2 weeks before I get to see anyone.

Am I worrying needlessly? It is a curve of the breast, a stretch mark?

I have had this pain before and thought it was due to a new bra which was over-tight or sleeping on a too hard matress?

So many possibilities whirling around, but they all come back to the one I don't want to type.

Anyone ese experienced having a pucker and breast pain at the same time?

I've noticed the some thing but on both breasts. Have gone to the doctor and had mammogram / Ultrasound all ok except a cyst in left breast with small calcification around the rim but all benign. I'm so scared that they have missed something. My doctors say it's just aging thing I'm 54 and menapausal.

If you are worried or unsure you must go back to the doctor and ask more questions.  A doctor is also there to re-assure you, not just diagnose.

My issue was deemed as nothing significant.  The pain was muscular, and it's all but gone now.  The dimple was just the way the fat was in my breast.  I've not been referred for mammogram or any further testing.  But I've to keep an eye on it and to go back if I have any other concerns.  Hope your doctor is able to put your mind at rest.  Sometimes there is nothing worse than worry. Best wishes.

Thank you for your replay. I did go back to an old doctor that I use to see years ago. She was lovely. She said it was fat deposits in my breast and it causes it. She reassured me that it was fine . She also gave me a breast exam and now I just need to stop worrying. I explain about what

I explained that I googled it and it looked the some. She told me not to google and go and see her. If she had any worries about it she would send me for another scan.😊
