Breast reduction surgery

Hi, I'm 27ys old and I've been thinking for long time to do a breast reduction surgery. My breast is big and heavy and has been causing me physical (back pain) and psychological (I've removed any type of social gathering, activity or interaction that involve moving a lot or wearing swimsuits: I stopped doing group sport activities, stoppped going to the beach with my friends and family and I've even limited my interactions with guys) problems. I was wondering if anyone here had done breast reduction surgery and if maybe it was done under the NHS.
I appreciate any help, advice or shared experience

You will need to be affected physically or mentally for the NHS to do a breast reduction. So they are the first two hoops to jump through. You need your GP to assess you and determine whether he/she can make a good case for you to have this surgery on the NHS.If you are lucky to have this offered on the NHS then I am sure you will be sent to a surgeon who is a specialist in this.

I've had breast reduction surgery, but not with the NHS. I tried it, but my breasts didn't seem like a big deal. They were for me too big, my back hurt and sometimes, especially in the summer, I had rash and that was uncomfortable. So I opted for surgery abroad for less money. Now I feel great, buying a normal bra size is amazing. And my back doesn't hurt anymore and I can do sports I couldn't do before. I know it cost me money, but maybe you can find a plastic surgeon who will do the surgery for less money. In the UK they asked too much, but I paid around £3000 at the Forme clinic. Well, that was my savings, but it was worth it to spent it on this operation. I didn't want to have huge boobs anymore.
