what exactly is "Subareolar Ductal Resection"? This is the surgery I have to have.

If you Google it you should get better information. To me it sounds like some kind of breast surgery. Good luck. I hope it all works out well for you.

thank you yes its breast surgery. i have googled and can not seem to find the exact thing im looking for. im trying to see what i can expect lol

Hmm. I have had breast surgery due to breast cancer (a 1/4 mastectomy). It was about 20 years ago so I'm sure things have changed. As far as what you can expect..... The pain meds help. Take them as prescribed. I remember having some trouble trying to sleep at night. There was nothing going on to distract me and it was painful turning over and moving around in bed. Perhaps with a sleep bra it wouldn't be an issue. What does your surgery entail? Best of luck.
