Breast tenderness, heaviness, and nipples itching

Hi ladies. Hopefully someone is still on here. I see that the group hasn’t been active for five months. I’m having an issue with breast tenderness/soreness, heaviness, and my nipples itching for the last three months. The itching comes and goes at least once a day for several minutes and is accompanied by the soreness. A bra seems to help the soreness a bit, but not really the itchiness. Another odd feeling I get a few times a day is the feeling that my nipples are leaking or wet, but when I check the bra, theres nothing there. I've even tried squeezing the nipples and nothing happens. I do notice the nipple is erect and cold, so maybe thats causing the odd feeling. Im 44 and had a partial hysterectomy two years ago. I had my diagnostic mammogram with US approximately two weeks ago (because of these issues) and everything was normal. I'm thinking I may be in perimenopause, but the itchy nipples is throwing me off. Anyone experience this with perimenopause?

ive got breast tenderness soreness im waiting to see specialist, got a few lumps as well !!! they say im on urgent list as there is cancer in my family so im a little bit worried !!!
my advice is go back to see your doctor and tell him all that is going on and ask him if u could be pre menopausal could be just that and also another peice of very good advice that i was given is DONT DR GOOGLE IT!!! please let us know what yr doctor says

Hi there
I went through a spell of itchy boobs and the sensation of leaking nipples last year. It was extremely annoying especially the leaking nipples. It made me very paranoid when I went out even though there was nothing visible. Can't remember exactly what was said but the doctor wasn't concerned.
Shortly afterwards though I was told I was perimenopausal. Coincidence? From reading about the 'peri' state and talking to other woman, I have come to the conclusion that there is the standard list of symptoms and there's also scope for your body to do just about anything peculiar. Great!!

I'm 46 and while I haven't been "diagnosed" premenopausal, I have had similar symptoms but they seem very spaced out so I don't always attribute it to being premenopausal. I too have experienced the itchiness, as well as a leaking feeling but with no actual leakage. I have pain from time to time, which is the thing that freaks me out the most, but I have learned to just chock it up to age and being female. Once in a while I have an anxiety attack hit me, which never used to happen, and is another thing I attribute to my changing hormones.
