Breath smells like faeces (Poo)

I have this horrid poo smell from my mouth. I brush my teeth twice a day, floss, use Dentyl PH mouthwash, I have the best oral hygeine of anyone I know but I still have this smell. I am too embarrassed to even ask my flriends or family to tell me my breath stinks. I am becoming totally reclusive because of it. Id rather go to my GP and tell him ive got an STD. I know ive got it coz sometimes people look around and ask if ive farted, and I see people with babies smelling their nappies when I speak. It really is starting to badly affect my life but I just cant pluck up the courage ot go to my GP. How on earht can i ay \"DR, My breath smells like poo!\" Please, if anyone has any tips let me know.

    Am not 100 % sure but i believe our poo breath is a result of what is known as a silent reflux. Due to our inability to properly digest what we eat we developed Gerd. Gerd is generally known as acid reflux. Whether we feel the burning sensation or not we experience acid reflux. It is called silent reflux because it is painless. Now because our stomach acid continually enters the esophagus our glands secretes mucous to protect its sensitive tissues/esophagus from being damaged. Unlike the stomach that produces and can withstand harsh levels if acidy. The esophagus has no defense so the mucous is produced to coat it from being damaged. let me get to point. Our issues is a combination of postnatal drip, acid reflux and lack of enzymes. Any questions don't be shy. I learned how to control, minimize and eradicated my problem... because of this I am now happier than I've ever been...i might even be getting married in a few months. wish me all the best. I hope you too will find the answer.

      i think you hv hit my nail on the head. i was experiencing bloody gums but got that cleared up, and still hv the bad breath. Funny you mention the post nasal drip and mucus. pls advise what you are using. i am so unhappy and depressed. i want to cry

      Thank you for your reply Andrew43612, I chew mint gums to mask the breath whenever go out. How can I kill this bad breath permanently.?

      I am happy for you. how did you cure the bad breath. did you change your diet? I read a special diet posted by Debra41045 in this thread a few years back. is that what you did? I desperate to find cure for this. been suffering all my life.

Over the years I have taken them, but when I have not gotten right-away results, I stopped taking them. Do you have a certain brand? How many do you take, and when do you take them? What other remedies are using that are part of your healing?

    Hi. I had the same problem. i had my tonsils out for something completely unrelated and the problem stopped.
