I have this horrid poo smell from my mouth. I brush my teeth twice a day, floss, use Dentyl PH mouthwash, I have the best oral hygeine of anyone I know but I still have this smell. I am too embarrassed to even ask my flriends or family to tell me my breath stinks. I am becoming totally reclusive because of it. Id rather go to my GP and tell him ive got an STD. I know ive got it coz sometimes people look around and ask if ive farted, and I see people with babies smelling their nappies when I speak. It really is starting to badly affect my life but I just cant pluck up the courage ot go to my GP. How on earht can i ay \"DR, My breath smells like poo!\" Please, if anyone has any tips let me know.

My last post explained exactly how to do that.
So if you haven't tried eating fermented foods and ingesting a potent probiotic supplement, I urge you to do so immediately. If you don't at least give it a shot for at least a month, then you are your own problem. Quit thinking about doing it and just DO IT.

I am interested to know if your problem with poo breath ever returned after the appendix removal. You are the only one I have ever heard mention appendix as a possible cause and it is very interesting because of the pain in the side you speak of. Does anyone else with the poo breath problem have that symptom?

Foods can get stuck between the nose and throat and start to rot which will obviously cause all kinds of bad smells. They aren't noticed by you because while chewing the food, it has already turned into a liquid state, so the remains are washed up on the walls of the nasopharynx, which sit there indefinitely, causing all kinds of problems, not just bad breath. Sinus problems, voice problems, ear problems, etc. Gross, huh? The writer of the article says to eat something dark, like a few Oreos. Rinse your mouth out several times, then "hack" some phlem out of your throat/nasopharynx and spit it into the sink. If you see food debris in your spit, then you have a swallowing disorder, which could very well be the cause of your bad breath.
Turns out that I have this problem! But for some reason I have always hacked up phlem until it was clear over the years. But if I eat something and don't brush/gargle afterwards, then I used to always get bad breath. This was most likely the cause! So interesting.
I am not a doctor or anything. I have just researched this topic for the last six to seven years and have learned quite a bit on the subject.
