Breathlessness and heartburn, is this gastric or anxiety?

I've been having breathlessness attacks for awhile, sometimes accompanied by heartburns. Went to few ECGs and checks, doctors said I was all healthy. Some days I have heartburn but I take Antacids once in a while to kerb this. is this normal for anxiety? I am very worried that it could lead to something else. Ive had gastric and acid reflux attack few months back. I dont know if this is the same or it's just another anxiety attack. I recently tried to drink ginger Tea to help my breathlessness, could that be why I'm having heartburn? it's not that bad though no tightness on the chest or anything it feels as though that I ate something spicy and it's acting up. If there's any tips to relief heartburn please share with me. Breathlessness alone is hard to deal with I dont want another problem to add up to my anxiety

there is a very strong connection between the mind and the gut or stomach. When we have anxiety, it can affect our stomach, intestines etc. A lot of stress can cause gastritis, indigestion, intestinal cramping etc. so yes your symptoms are very common to have when you have anxiety. The important thing is to be able to manage the anxiety which can help reduce your symptoms.
Did your doctor give you any medication for the acid reflux? I would be surprised if he or she did not. The ant acids are a temporary fix but that’s all. I found that I had to change a lot of things in my life such as my diet, getting more exercise, relaxing with soothing meditation, lowering my anxiety level.
ginger tea is known for soothing acid reflux and gastritis.
its very important to eat the proper foods when you have acid reflux or gastritis. You must avoid acidic foods such as Pop, red meats, junk food, most dairy foods. Eat foods that are plant-based such as fresh vegetables, lean chicken or fish , Some fruits are OK such as bananas, apples and pears. You can find a list of good alkaline foods online.
make sure you are drinking plenty of water every day. I was listening to a doctor online who specializes in stomach health and he said if you have a high level of stress and anxiety, it’s very important to take time out of your day to relax your mind. You can listen to some breathing exercises on YouTube. that’s because of that strong mind body stomach connection. also just do things that relax your mind such as taking a walk, listening to relaxing music, doing hobbies, being out in nature for a while. When you learn those breathing exercises, you can do those anytime.
I do hope you feel better soon.

I had major gastric few months before this. it's probably PTSD. Im trying to stay away from foods/drinks that can trigger heartburn. recently I took peppermint tea to soothe breathlessness but little did I know, peppermint triggers heartburn. That sucks. Is there medication that could take away or kerb heartburns more than antacid? Cause everytime there's heartburn my mind will divert as if I have heart complications and that will trigger my anxiety/breathlessness. Just so tired of feeling this way

I have just had this & pretty sure it was anxiety. I had mine accompanied with an intermittent cough.
From what I know, your large bowel runs horizontally just below your rib cage. When I get IBS symptoms (mainly constipation) the pain is right under the ribs & can radiate up into the higher ribs. There have been times I was convinced I was having heart issues.

hey there, sorry to hear that. it must feel so uncomfortable. I dont have constipations, just some heartburns now and then. and yes, I am worried if I have heart conditions too. but I went to the hospital for checkup doc said I'm very healthy. I had those pains but it feels more like a cramp though. Hope youre doing good! How long have you had this feeling?
