i literally feel like im suffocating 24/7, and beginning to think this cant be anxiety and maybe heart related because i know anxiety causes suffocation sensation but not constantly...also when i talk it feels like im running out of breathe....
Anyone else have this symptom constantly??

That sensation can be 24 seven. have you had a check up with your doctor? that would give you peace of mind.
but seriously, I’ve had that feeling for weeks on end and the only things that help me are using the proper breathing method to get in control. I think I may have told you before you find them on YouTube. Try it because it works. You search for stop panic attacks now. then scroll down and look for one called don’t panic in black letters. Please try this it’s very short and it’s effective! I do this anytime I feel the way you do.

Yes, this is absolutely anxiety and panic attack related. I get the same exact thing. I am sorry you are dealing with this. see if your Dr can get you checked out for peace of mind then if everything's ok, you will feel much better! best wishes to you!

It's definitely anxiety related. I've been dealing with breathlessness for the last three years on a daily basis. Some days are worse than others and is 24/7. Try breathing exercises and try not to think about it, it may or may not go away. If so you're going to have to learn to live with it. That's assuming you ruled everything else out with your dr. After multiple trips to the ER, paramedics coming to my work cause i thought i was having a heart attack, multiple x-rays, cardiologist visits, stress test, blood test, 24 hour heart monitoring, lung test etc., all cleared me in excellent health. Therapy, yoga, meditation and breathing exercises helped me. But most importantly, accepting that i have anxiety is the biggest step! BTW, i am not taking any psychotropic medications of any kind, i refused to be medicated even though my drs insisted every time.

Im currently having this and ive had it over over a year! i dont want to say your issue is JUST anxiety because i take effexor and have for 4 years and my shallow breathing started a year and half ago. i actually tried a new medication and after a few days of no effexor it felt like i could breathe again normally. but my depression was getting worse so i went back to effexor and now i have breathing issues again and my depression and anxiety have got out of control. so im looking to change to something else. are you taking any medication its possable its not mixing with you. its really hard to figure out it takes some time to see is it anxiety or is a health issue going on or side effect from a drug? anxiety has alot of symptoms and breathing is one of them but i just tried an ativan to see if it would help and my breathing is still shallow no help at all it still feels like someone put weights on my chest. when i speak i get really out of breathe too. my cardio is terrible just walking or one simple flight of stairs make me even more out of breath! and im only 5'9 210 pounds which isnt that big for the average man. so im going through the same issue as you did you find any help? id recommend doing what im doing. i have a test prescribed by my doctor a lung test, abdominal xray and bloodwork testing for alot of different things from vitamins to gluten intolerance. still have to get those done this week. i will say this tho get a good doctor. i was using this doctor at the walk in clinic and he was pretty bad and careless. he just shoooed me out of his office all the time and said ok see ya. lol not joking either yeah time for a new doctor. the one i have no is very good my mom goes to her.
