pi have passed on your best wishes. She is on the continuous passive motion machine non stop. I asked her if it takes her bend to 130 degrees every time and she said yes!

The physio talked to me about it as if it was some sort of torture machine straight out of a horror film!
Poor Britta though, to be on it non stop, day and night, with every bend being taken to 130. She says sleeping is more like dozing.
We can hire them here though at $150 a week it's a bit steep.
I was at 0 degrees from day one, but the bend is hard work.
i had one painful physio manipulation and I will have another next week if I'm not over 105 degrees.

i had a Physio manipulation oh my word it certainly hurt
it's the straightening that I'm finding a problem
and my physio discharged me when I had a 95degree bend which I thought was far too soon
but that's the NHS for you....
i'm my little pedal machine does the job
13 weeks and still struggling with sleepless nights etc...

I have been very lucky with sleep. I remember back around the ten day mark that I had back ache from laying on my back so long. I think in all, so far maybe 5 sleepless nights, but most of them were after the physio manipulation.
i use our exercise bike now, it took a while to manage a full revolution, but now I can do it. It does hurt my bum though, bike seats do.
I am still seeing my physio almost 11 weeks post op now. It's called Medicare here.
My son has just come to see me, silly guy, he is sunburnt! That's a real no no here.

I am off to a Barbie tonight, I don't really want to go, but I am forcing myself out of the house.
I drove for the first time yesterday! I have been putting it off, but yesterday when Des was out m daughter rang in a panic, I was the only one who could drive her and her cat to the vet. So I did. And, Britta ..... I changed all my settings back and put my choice of CDs in!
Onwards and Upwards

She said the day after she got 70 then with a push 90. The next day she got 120 so she went home. I'm happy for her, and so jealous. Lol
