Broken Ankle advice please pic attached

Broke my ankle a week, was told it’s a minor fracture so was given an air boot. I wear it most of that day except for bath/ bed

My next app is not for another 9 days to check if healing ok.

Could anyone advise from the pic what that bone is called as I haven’t noted it down.

I also in barely any pain when trying to put pressure on the foot. Does this mean hopefully I will be able to have a quick recovery??

I’ll try and point out where I was told the fracture is in the pic

    Hello! Sorry I am only seeing this now! I think we have the same injury. How is yours going? I am on day 6 (left stable lateral malleolus fracture to the distal tip) and I am doing my head in. Would love to know what happened to you. Stay safe
