broken blood vessel in head of penis - penis pump

Hi,

as from time to time I use penis pump this time it was more fatal. At the top of glans penis I had a bubble "Orange seed" size. I paniced and thought I need to get rid of the blood which I did adding some pressure with my thumb, all clean with Octenisept. Now the bubble is like 4 times smaller but still there is some blod inside and I'm scared to add more pressure to take it because it wont flow and I do not want to damage skin to all of that. Please ssuggest should I wait till its self absorbed by penis, ... or should I go to ER so they can safely cut it and release, or is it safe to cut it by myself? or ust safe to leave at it is.

Im soooo panicked right now, Had this penis pump ritual for monhs now ans sure I used a lot of pressure but never injurd myself earlier.

Picture should be attached if not Ill uplad via link

Hello, i have used a penis pump regularly and I used to get 2 or 3 of these happening every year.

I have tried two approaches to dealing with these, to allow the bubble to be absorbed naturally, or, to safely burst the bubble with a sharp object and use something like a clean paper tissue to draw out the blood inside the bubble. I then apply liquid antiseptic 2 times daily to ensure the wound heals safely.

I have found that the bubble will heal more quickly by bursting it and drawing out the blood.

What you currently have is a bit of both of these approaches going on. What you can try is applying an ointment of cream version of antiseptic and very gently manipulate what remains of the bubble, then use a paper tissue to apply slightly more pressure to draw the remaining blood in the bubble.

As long as you keep the area clean after urinating then reapply the Octenisept or other antiseptic then the wound will eventually heal - it may take 8 to 14 days for most of the loose skin of the bubble to heal and begin to look normal again.

So, next time go easy with the penis pump - what you need is to learn when to stop applying pressure so that these blood vessel bursts do not occur again.

thank you for such good explanation, I was freaking out, I followed your second advice to make tiny hole with needle and let it go and I'm calm now ot was ok to do that. I appreciate it a lot, kr.

    Hi again,

I'm comming back because this little wound is not healing as good as I could expect. its swallows a lot and is red now and surprisingly not in initial place but near my "penis hole".

    past treatment:

I gave up octenisept because of pain feeling it gave me when applying, tried some baby cream for skin heal but I'm not sure if its right to apply anything or just leave it.

    current treatment:

Currently after each urinnating Im washing my penis with women intimate soap (Aqua, Magnesium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, ) but as daus go swalling and red colour seems to stay or even improve a bit

    whats next?:

is it good time to go to doctor for some antibiotic, more suitable medication? or is there anything I can do at home? Rivanol could be an option?
