Broken cast

I was placed on a cast after fracture of the tibia and fabula, six weeks after I went for scan and there was sign from the xray of progress of healing with white particles around the point of fracture, but it's been 8 weeks now and the cast got broken as a result of the commencement of full weight bearing as adviced by the doctor, please what can I do there was pain also at he beginning of weight bearing but it is.getting. better by.the.day, am more concern with the.broken cast, can I take it off

    This sounds like a phone call to your doctor's office would be in order.  Good to hear it's getting better but he/she is the professional.  Certainly not me.  Hope all works out for you.

    Hi Osef, I hope your day is going well!

    I am glad you are making progress with healing and that your pain is diminishing.

    I broke my foot in 2 places three months ago. I am starting to feel better although sometimes the physiotherapist gives me exercises I am not ready for. I am scheduled for an X-ray on Tuesday, so am hoping for some good news!

    As for your broken cast, I would check with your doctor whether or not it needs to be replaced. Also, it may be a good idea to ease off of the weight bearing until your doctor's appointment.

    If the cast is still on, If at all possible; it might be a good idea to leave it on until you do see your doctor.
