UGH DEBBI!!  Sounds terrible but remember it is temporary!!  Are you icing the area or trying to ice?  If not start immediately.  Pack as much frozen stuff as you can around the area to help with pain management.  Are you seeing a physical therapist?  If yes, discuss with your PT!!  If no, why not??  YOU WILL GET BETTER!!  Did you fracture the ball or the scapula?  Is the glenohumeral joint intact?  Did you tear tendons?   Give us more intel to help you with suggestions.  In the meanwhile, remember you will heal.  It takes many months and maybe years to recover from these injuries.  Stay positive.  Cry when you must-its frustrating for sure.  Focus on the positive, tiny nuggets of improvement!!  Take care, God bless you, and stay positive.  You are not alone!!  We are here, and we get it.

Wait a minute. Broken? Seriously? Did the ball part separate from the arm bone? If so you need serious surgery. I believe that without a proper fix, your shoulder will be in jeopardy for the rest of your life. Go see a specialist immediately.

And really focus on the physio.

    All the best,
