Broken my leg and thumb

I fell over in January whilst crossing a road. Needed stitches in my head, I broke my thumb which had been in plaster and broke my leg. This has been pinned and plated. Came out of plaster 0n 16 th March . I've had a horrible 8 weeks. Been st home mostly cos non weight bearing and because of my thumb couldn't use proper crutches. I am now in a boot .

      I am using crutches and in a boot . Going for my first phyiso on 6 th April . My mum is a physiotherapist

      I did it and all was fine. The cast and braces are really protective! Just be careful not to torque the knee walker too much as you go around sharp corners or up and down steps. I learned the hard way! smile

    You poor thing, only you know how you feel, just take it easy, don't be in a rush.
