Broken tooth is clicking and popping like it has h202 underneath it.

I've got a broken off molar at the moment that needs fixed. My appointment isn't for another month, i can't get in sooner.

It's started popping and bubbling in what feels like the root area, like there's hydrogen peroxide underneath the tooth. Happens for a few seconds at least once a day. As long as i have a barrier between the air and the nerve, there's 0 pain.

No swelling or anything, i really don't think it's an infection. (I'm a pharmacologist, so while diagnosis isn't my strong point, I'm very much scientifically aware of the medical realm)

Could it just be tissue separating as the tooth dies off? I already know it'll be pulled and not given a root canal. I'll get an implant eventually.
