Broken wrist

I broke my wrist on July 24 2017 I'm getting ready for my cast to come off how long before I can go back to work?

    Hi Jen!

    What is your occupation? It certainly will need to be taken into consideration. I had ORIF of my left wrist and have 7 screws and a plate and am still in OT 3x/week. It is a long, arduous process and will also depends on whether your dominant limb is involved. You should expect some initial muscle atrophy, so be diligent in your OT as you will definitely require some strengthening. Good luck!

    Depends on the fracture and your job. I broke mine on the same date in 2015 but only stayed off work for 1 week until I had the full plaster. I had a simple fracture with no pins or surgery.
