Hi all, just looking for some reassurance. Today I have discovered new bruising behind my knee. It hasn't been knocked or anything, could this be due to doing too much ? Thanks. Sue

I also have something like that. But mine is not painful, I feel it when I moisturize as I can’t see behind my knee

Hi keep an eye on it does it hurt when you touch it

I was at My GP last week re Post Op TKR (5 months) Pain and she asked about bruising? Maybe just routine questions as I was asking about Clots 😮

I've been referred for more Physio (No Clots)

    Take Care

Hi. Thanks for reply. Will keep my on it, it doesn't hurt to touch. Have been struggling with straightening and physio have had me on my front with legs off the bed to stretch it out which is something Chico recommends on here, perhaps it is just because of that . You take care too .

My leg is fairly straight some advice I was given was to rest your foot on a stool so that your knee isn't resting on anything and gravity helps straighten it. A physio also told me to get an oven glove and put a tin of beans in each hand part and rest it over your leg to weigh it down a bit, makes it ache a bit but only while stretching out x

Hi Snoozy , what a simple but brilliant idea with oven gloves ! . must try that. I am wondering if because I am doing more excersises to straighten that I may have pulled something that has caused the bruising. Think I need to wait till Monday and ring physio. Thanks for reply.
