Bulging disc c6/7

Hi guys,

I'm not quite sure if this is the right forum for my case.

I had an injury at work about couple of months ago. I had MRI done and it showed the disc protrusion on c6/7. I was in severe pain for the past 2 months up until last week.

a week ago Im not feeling much pain as it used to, can put up without taking pain meds. I just notice now that for some reason although it's less pain, I have notice the weakness on my neck and down to my right arm. Not to mention the burning sensation and twitching muscles at the same time. The pain is still there but bearable. Is this mean my bulging disc or herniated disc is slowly getting better? Is there any such thing as CAN HEAL NATURALLY?

Please advice. I will be going to have a surgery in near future.

Cheers

Oh BOY... "I just notice now that for some reason although it's less pain, I have notice the weakness on my neck and down to my right arm. Not to mention the burning sensation and twitching muscles at the same time."

Go see your doctor or work doctor who treated your work injury promptly.  Post how it goes.  Good luck!!!

I'm not a dr but I had a bulging disc in lumbar spine, and with physical therapy and time it went away. I would be concerned with your neck and  arm having pain now. I hope you can get in and see your doctor and try to get an MRI, or a good chiropractor,  to see how you can heal properly.  Good luck and hope the pain goes away completely.  Note: if this is a workers comp issue, it could take longer but would probably be covered through your employer...

      Hi there Jude,

thanks for taking time on replying with my concerns. I am going through the workers comp, and yes it had been ages since I have waited and still waiting.

I have seen my work physician and he said there is nothing he can do to help me as it's with the insurance to sort things out with my surgeon now.

It's been really frustrating. Just the numbness and twitching muscles is what's killing me. Thanks again any way...
