Bump

I've been having this zit like bump the size of a dime between my genitals and anus. It's not painful and a lot the times it discharges. It goes away then comes back. I want to bring it up with my dermatologist and have him check it out, but I'm afraid I might feel embarrassed. Do dermatologist help patient around the genitals area?

Just based on the location it is probably an abcess. You will want to see a colo-rectal surgeon and they can do a proper drain of it. One good thing is you don't need to be embarrassed with a CRS, it's the type of thing they see all the time! Half the time you will have further complications following the drain and require surgery. Not to scare you, but it likely won't go away on it's own. Best of luck to you!

If your shaving that area that is why your having that issue. Use Tea Tree Oil to treat the bump. Then laser it no more shaving.

    Hi

yes his sounds like you have a small abscess that is reoccurring so best to visit your doctor to get a referral to a colorectal surgeon who can do an MRI scan if required. If your diet is not so great the best thing to do is to eat more healthily, more veg and a little fruit. Not always welcome advice but it works. Please let us know how you get on. Hope this goes away soon.
