Bump on forehead after hit

Hello,

When I was young, about 9 or 10, I hit my head on the wall while playing. This resulted in a bump showing on my forehead on top of my left eye. At the time, I didn't really put ice on it or treat it as I thought It would reabsorb in time. Now I am 21 years old and the bump is still there showing. When I touch it, it does not hurt, but it is very visible and would like it to go away.

Wanted to know if there's anything i could do, naturally, to make this go away or is it too late? If it is too late, would surgery do the trick, then?

Looking forward for your answers; they will be very much appreciated.

Many thanks.

Dont think there is much that you can do about it on your own.If the bump is very large then I think any doctor would want to know what is the reason for the lump still being there, and what it consists of.

Do your friends and family comment on it or is it just something you think is noticeable but others dont?

If you are in UK and your GP doesnt think its too bad then you would have to ask for a private referral for surgery to remove it.Dont forget that surgery will probably leave a scar,so do consider which you would prefer. A lump or a scar?

It's not really big but it is noticeable but I rarely get any comments about it. You're right, I rather have this bump than a scar. I guess i was looking for something I could do myself to reduce it or slowly make it go away.
