Bump on Tongue on my 5yr old

My daughter is now 6 years old and we noticed a small bump on her tongue a year ago. Her pediatrician said it should go away and nothing to worry about. In the months after that, the bump grew slowly and got to the size in the picture. No irritation. No pain. I tried to feel it with my hand and I can sense that it has some depth... it is not just on the surface. Now we are starting to worry and taking her to a Dentist didn't really help as well. Any advice is appreciated.
