Bump under tongue

found this under my tongue 2 months ago. just went to an oral surgeon and they sent a piece for biopsy. Doesn't hurt, bleed, and has not grown. He mentioned possible oral cancer and now I'm freaked. I'm only 25, only ever smoked a few times (and its been 6 years), rarely drink, and very healthy. i mentioned my retainer sit directly on/beside the area, so I'm hoping it was cause by some trauma. Would appreciate any advice. image

    Possible damage from retainer. Sometimes things we put in our mouths can cause internal damage. It doesnt appear to cancer, i will say that much.
