Bumps in labia majora ( picture )

Well I've been with the same person for the las 6 months . Never had an issue before , even tho I'm really expose to frequent yeast infection especially recently that I've change my birth control over 3 times . Now like 3 days ago I was sleeping and not wearing underwear, felt a lil itching in my labia so I scratch it . Took a look the day after and it was a bit red , obviously but it looked like a bite . The day after I shaved and noticed a small red spot but not a big deal , thought it was because of something bit me while sleeping . Now I have developed within 3 days around 8 bumps and they feel hot and a lil bit itchy even tho I haven't scratch them at all . Oh I had sex with my boyfriend the day I shaved . He's got not visible signs of STD or herpes at all . This is the first time happening to me . It might be a yeast external infection ? Herpes ? Pls help

Hey I would say go get tested from you on/gyn. Request the hsv1 and hsv2 test to see if you have any antibodies for herpes and same for your partner.

Best to see a doctor asap and ask for a herpes swab unless the doctor is sure it's something else. Your symptoms are too general for much input here. I mean, it may not be herpes, but there's always that possibility it is, and only a test can confirm it either way. Herpes doesn't need symptoms to transmit, incidentally.

If you have bumps, you want the *swab*, not (or not only) the IgG antibody test, which is only good after a couple of months, ideally 3+ months. Never waste your time or money on the IgM test.

Thank y'all for the feed back and advice I just got a swab done today and it came negative the results , by boyfriend laughing at me cause he knows I freak out when it comes to my genitals ! Either way is just folliculitis . Not big deal but bottom line and moral of the story is that I would've never know for sure if I didn't get the swab done .
