Bumps in the back of my throat

Hey everyone ! So I just came back from an annual today. I have excessively dry lips, scaling and swelling, which the Doctor said was just eczema. Tonight, I went to give myself a self examination (I do not have a good history with doctors) just to make sure there wasn't any discoloration or odd growths in my mouth. When I went to check the back of my throat I discovered a ton of yellow-ish bumps behind my uvula & tonsils !! I thought this might be normal until I checked my boyfriends throat and it looked smooth and pink. My throat isn't exactly sore. Occasionally I will feel discomfort in the front of my throat but it never persists for more than a couple of minutes. I wanted to know what this might be or if this is something super concerning. I consulted a friend who is a nurse practitioner and she said she has no idea what it could be and that it looked strange, which is a bit unnerving.

    hi i have the same bumps they look almost identical, i also have swollen tonsils, they have been swollen consistently for about 6 months now. the doctors put it down to chronic tonsillitis but i dont have any white spots so it isnt that!

    very worrying! have you heard anything else?
