Bumps on vagina - any ideas what they could be?

Hi there!

I'm really worried about these small bumps on my vagina. I have seen a few Dr's and 2 of them said it could possibly be herpes, then another 2 said it was definitely not and I shouldn't worry! I had a swab test for herpes and it came back negative, but I have no idea what else it could be, and I know herpes can produce false negative test results. It's causing me a lot of stress. Has anyone any ideas, or have similar bumps?

hi i have seen you posted this a while back, just wanted to know if you have had a cure by now? i have had this since may so ( 6 months ) it is burning all the time every day sometimes itchy ive seen so many different doctors sexual health nurses and they can not find anything, ive had an ultrascan and genital herpes swab but still nothing. i have taken so many anti biotics, many different creams, blood tests, i have just started managing a bit with a numbing cream called vagisil this started right after i changed my sexual partner back in may it really made me consider if he had given me a STD but all results keep coming back Negative... I dont know if this is due to his hygiene ( which later on down the line i realised was not the best ) i also found out he was sleeping around i am worrying my self to death every single day. i am no longer in contact with him. This has really taken over my life i have lost my job due to it i can not leave my bed i am 21 years of age and im waiting to see a Dermatologist but it could take up to next year to get my appointment due to COVID19. if anybody on here has a remedy i would be so thankful!!! thank you so much for reading sorry for going on and on but i am amazed i have finally found a photo on here that looks the same as me !

Hi! I'm 15 and I have been having the same problems since I was 10 or 11, the smell ,discharge and the small bumps I was thinking an STD but that wouldn't be the case for me because I have never had sexual intercource . I'm embarrassed to tell anyone , and get help. Maybe someone could help me. I'm underaged so I'm not gonna post what it looks like but I sorta looks like yours but more closer inside the lips and a little on my clitoris. If anyone could help me that could be appreciated, thank you.

Please don't be tempted to post, as you are correct- you are underage.

Doctors have seen it all, so don't be embarrassed. Moreover, as you say for yourself, you have not had sex, you also are not required to feel any shame of potentially having made the wrong decision or brought this on yourself (as someone who is sexually actively may MISTAKENLY feel ashamed in this way).

Talk to an adult you can trust, and book an appointment to be seen by a doctor. You should ask for a nurse during the appointment if you have a physical examination to supervise and support you if you're by yourself- this is for your own safety.

You can visit a sexual health clinic, and be seen without a guardian having to know. Nevertheless, I don't believe this is necessary for you because you haven't done anything to hide, you are just facing a health problem.

Talk to a trusted adult, and see a doctor.
