i just had surgery on the 5th of Sept is it normal to leave the stitches in for 20 days? i have a cast and cant see the top of my foot where he cut it open, but its feeling really tight and like the stitches are sticking, or pulling. i have 4 pins coming out of the tips of 4 of my toes. im just wondering about the stitches on top. its a long cut! image

    Hello I think it would have been ideal to have stitches out earlier but they were forever taking mine out as well and my foot felt very tight. I'm in the UK, the nurses at my GP's surgery took mine out eventually. Your foot looks good, keep us posted

      thank you for the reply. im having trouble with my foot right now. ill post a pic to see what you think. i went to ER, gave me antibiotics that was thursday. called the doctor couldnt get appointment for friday. its saturday my toe flesh feel like they are being eaten. Underneath my foot feels like skin is growing and real thick. I have appointment on Wednesday for cast change. the stitches feel tight and burn also. My ankle itches and is burning too.
