Bunion surgery recocery

I just had bunion surgery 2 weeks ago, and was wonderi,g when I can expect the pain to lessen. It was pretty severe and requires screws and metal hardware. He said the recovery will be 8 weeks, but surely this pain won't take so long...

    Hello hope everything is ok for u. Im I my 8 weeks and 3 days of recovery my foot is still swelloen and hurts going back to doctor june 22 to get the boot off and suppose to be going back to work July 1st I dont think im ready

      Oh goodness, it doesn't sound like it at all. Maybe once the boot is off, the pain and swelling will decrease

    Sorry u had a bad night I know what's like im worried that I may not be able to go back to work in july I live In Virginia can u apply for short term disability

    I got my stitches out yesterday, and feel a huge difference in the pain!! He said it is healing So well, that I can walk using the boot,next week..
