Bunion Surgery recovery time?

Could anyone on this site give me a rough estimate on the recovery time line? My job requires me to be on my feet, with lots of walking. I'm trying to figure out how much time, I will be off of work! Ugh!!

I am 10 weeks post surgery. I am recently retired, so happily no work for me, but I know that at this point I could work at a desk or in a job with a little walking, or in a situation where I was in control of when to sit or stand. I would not be happy standing or walking a lot. However, I am sure it must depend on the type of surgery you had. At this point I am happiest in walking sandals.

(may 3rd 2019 second post operation) i would say 2-3 months. ive had both of mine done and im in my second month of recovery with my left foot and it really take 6-8 weeks for your bones to fully heal and if you walk alot you dont want to cause more damage or nerve pain...swelling... all that bad stuff.

im walking in a boot and almost cleared to walk without it but i still get swelling and jolts of pain when i walk too much. beat of luck!
