Your right! I just kept putting it off! I very active and being laid up for months is going to be hard. Plus my job requires me to be on my feet.. I'm going to talk to my doctor and set something up for November! That way I can recover in the winter months in WNY!

As far as I'm concerned there is only one thing to go on.
Do they hurt? If the answers yes ,then you need surgery.
If they don't hurt, then you don't.
it's not surgery to be taken lightly.

This surgery makes a hell of a difference appearance wise and physically I say go for it if you’ve had pain! goodluck

wow what an improvement! This is a great result. I had right foot surgery and no change actually looks worse and still painful. I am considering again for both feet but fear a bad result plus all of the downtime. what was your procedure? are you in US?

i went to a podiatrist in cambridge MA who is associated with mount auburn hospital.. she was amazing! i had a lapidus bunionectomy, hammer toe in both of my second met. & they both had to be shortened as well. recovery was rough the first week with both but after that week almost like clockwork, my pain withered away and it became bearable.
