Yes I have redness and burning inside vagina and have just had biopsy to confirm if LS.

I was under the impression that LS does not enter the vagina.

Soreness inside the vagina is more likely to be lichen planus - very uncomfortable and I find it hard to get under control. I'm using Dermovate at the moment under the direction of a dermatologist.

Can I ask where exactly is the burning coming from...is it coming from high up deep inside your vagina, ( I have experienced burning before but I had thrush), and so I would make sure you have ruled that out. or is the burning coming from inside  your labia minora, in which case it might be lichen planus, I dont really know to be honest, but it sounds awfull.

Lichen Sclerosis affects only the external genitalia. It is Lichen Planus and other problems that will affect inside the vagina. Lichen Planus and lichen sclerosis can also affect other parts of the body and inside our mouths. Can anyone describe the difference between the two conditions.

Can't describe the difference between LP and LS.  Both are helped by coconut oil.  (covering the area at the bottom and rinsing my mouth)
