When does the burning after a BM stop?!?

Anyone else feel pressure in the bum. Standing is difficult because I feel like my bottom is going to fall out.

Yes!!! I am the same. Always wanting to have a BM but if I try, nothing. I'm so glad I'm not alone. Today is exactly one week for me. I was hoping that would have gotten better by now.

Feels like I'm going to give myself more hemorrhoids than I began with sitting on the toilet so much and straining for something to come out. Ugh. Never ends.

Today is day 12. Since Morning I felt like BM but none. Finally at 8.00pm I applied little pressure. Stool was soft. I got burning sensation and recided in 2 hrs. I have stopped laxatives, I only depend on drinking warm water and walking.

The initial experience on first 3 days after BM was very very unbearable. I used to bang my hands on toilet walls.

    Now it is bearable.

Only worry is to avoid Constipation. Doctor and myself can do our part. But God will also help...

Everyone is different. Take you have been given stool softener. I was given lactulose and fybogel. Drink plenty of water too. You just have to take your time when you have a BM and not force it. Then sit in a hot bath which will help.
