Burning brain

Hi I've had what feel like a burning brain it's there most of the time. Some days worse than others.I've come off medication as was not heiping

.had mri ct scan all clear. Anyone else suffer from this.

    Desmond, can you say what medication you were on, and for what reason? Also, how long have you had this "burning brain"?

      Thanks for that, Desmond. However, I have to admit I'm not really any wiser about what you're actually feeling. Do you mean your head feels hot, or are you describing some sort of state of mental agitation? I'm also wondering whether there were any changes in your life immediately before it all started. This might include taking non-prescription drugs.

      Glad to hear your MRI was clear. It's a very sensitive investigation so would have picked up any neurological reason for your symptoms. I suppose you've been checked for sinusitis - though I'm pretty sure the MRI would have picked that up too.

      Hi thanks for reply. Yeah it's feel like burning sensation in my brain. It sometimes go for couple of day like this week but come back today. So I think I'm going to have to put up with it

      Lupus is an auto immune disease. There is a  leaflet on it on Patient co.

      It may need excluding as it can cause the burning sensations of the scalp.
