this came up under the corner of my eye a week ago & has progressively gotten worse. although it doesn't look like much, it stings very bad to the touch. what could this be?

Bailey...it looks like a tiny crack in the skin under your eye. Do you rub your eyes a lot? Do you wear under eye make up? Give up any eye make up for the moment and dont rub your eyes. Wash your eye with plain cold water, no soap and dry very gently with a tissue.....just blot your eye and dont rub. Then gently smooth in plain vaseline , not the aloe variety. You could also use Savlon cream.Do this every day before you sleep and it should heal. If it doesnt and you feel its getting worse then do see your doctor..
