Burning feeling peri menopausal

Wondering if anyone is suffering from the following?! ... I'm 43 and Perimenopausal. lately I have been suffering from a terrible burning sensation around the vagina. i dont have an infection and it doesnt hurt to urinate.

just a dull ache and a burning feeling !

any suggestion for relief would be very much appreciated ... thanks in anticipation

    You may be experiencing dryness.. use unrefined coconut oil and slather it around. If that helps call your gyno and discuss your options. Coconut oil is a great moisturizer and is also a natural antibacterial.. Keep it in the fridge so when you scoop some out it doesn't melt before you smear it around.

    I have the exact same issue with the burning feeling. I went to the gyn last week and Gigi is correct the dr believes it's caused from dryness. She recommended trying Replens Moisturizer or an over the counter product similar to that. I just started that treatment. She said if that doesn't work she could prescribe estrogen cream.

      I use Estrace Cream, I didn't have much luck with over the counter stuff, coconut oil was the only thing that helped but it didn't last long. Ive been on the estrace hormone cream for almost 3 yrs now and I love it. I'm back to as normal as it's going to get at my age lol.
