burning feet

I have pain across my feet just under my toes, (if that makes sense), and a rash , i did show this to the

podiatrist, and she said if it gets worse go to the doctor.

When i use zinc and caster oil cream it eases it.

It is annoying and hurts, but i am due to see the doctor and will mention this, i dont know if it is related to PMR .

If you have a rash then it could possibly be athletes foot or thrush - pred makes us more susceptible. I had pain in the balls of my feet with PMR but don't remember having a rash though. I'd ask the GP.

What did you do about the pain in the balls of your feet. This has just happened to me. Only right foot. PMR 4 years at 7mg pred for about a month, Thanks

It was a bit like having had the soles of my feet sandpapered! I put up with it for ages - the GP was not a lot of help! One I was on pred it slowly improved. There are rheumatologists who insist they can diagnose PMR by looking at the patient's feet! My chiropodist says she has seen a great improvement in my feet when the PMR is well managed - and I develop bad hard skin when I'm having a flare. So - is the 7mg still enough to manage the PMR?
