Burning feet weakness in legs

I went to 2 specialist for burning,painful feet. Was put on all the medications everyone has mentioned. I even tried lyrica(may not be spelled right) I swelled so bad that I rubbed against a chair and had to have 18 stitches put in my shin. The side affects from all the supposed helpful medications was ridiculous. Blur speech,vision,headaches and sick feeling and still had pain. It is so bad that I am not able to go places that require walking a lot or standing,sometimes sitting for periods of time. My GP finally had to put me on Demeral for pain. I know everyone says addiction, but I have found that at least I am able to go places and do things. I'm to the point of if it works without side effects, I am all for it. As for driving I wasn't able to before the medication.

    Hi jmac2 same for me all the meds can't stand foot pain so bad can you tell me the dosage so I can ask my Dr

    Oxy and others no help maybe he would be willing to do the demeral.Hope you feel better. Diane

    Hello Diane, I take 50mg 4 times a day. I started out two times a day that worked for sometime. Then I eventually got to where I am now. The thing I like about taking them is the fact I can still function without feeling drugged out. The thing that I really like is it helps wonderfully with pain. I maintain a regular schedule everyday. I do drive but I don't take them until I am through for the day of running. I have on occasion had to drive but only after an hour or two of taking them. I am usually pain free or at least relieved of pain up to six hours, on bad days I take at four hours. Hope this helps, I know if it was not for the emerald I probably would have committed hair Carrie by now.

    Diane as you can tell my kindle uses its own words so you'll have to fill in the word I wanted. And thank for asking I am doing well thank-you. I am with you on trying everything thing without relief. The bad thing is when I fell people I am not able to do things, I think that I am lying to them because they don't understand what I deal with every day. I pray your doctor will help you and good luck. The doctor I use now is the only one that would work with me. He listened to me about how bad the pain was.
