I asked thus question before when my clitoris wasn't so swollen but now it's gotten even more swollen. From the picture it looks inflamed and it is turning pink. I have a spot on my clitoris and I don't know what it is. My doctors appointment is on the 20th and I noticed or felt a piece of extra skin on the inside of the right side of my vagina which freaked me out. I notice this burning sensation on my clitoris about a week ago. I masturbated the previous week but I didn't notice any pain. The next couple of days I inserted a tea tree oil suppository and the next morning I noticed a burn around and on my clitoris area. I thought by now it would let up but it hasn't. I've applied coconut oil on it to soothe it. Also I've had a yeast infection for awhile and I'm having that checked out as well. I strongly believe that I have an std and I'm so afraid. I received/gave oral sex last month on February the 1st and I'm just noticing these symptoms. I still haven't noticed any open sores or ulcers. My clitoris looks abnormal to me. I'm tired of crying and not knowing whats wrong with my body. The pain isn't intense enough for me to go to a prompt care, but my body hasn't felt the same. I thought it could be cancer, my vaginal lips feel puffy and there is some discomfort. I tried to get an earlier appointment but I cant 😦. So I have to wait 14 more days still. I dont have any flu like symptoms but I do have discomfort in my throat now and ear. There looks like thin white patches on my throat, my lips are tingling, I'm beyond stress. I'm also still a virgin.

Lanisha, you need to stop obsessing about your vulva and you need to calm down - stress is a contributory factor in yeast infections. If you still a virgin, how could you have an std? The only thing you could get from oral is herpes but your symptoms are not consistent with that. It is always best to assume the most likely thing until you are tested and told otherwise and the most likely thing is that you have scratched or nicked your clitoris somehow and that has got infected. Have you tried putting sudocrem on it? My daughter spent several days with a very painful vulva, convinced it was infected and when she finally let me check, i found a small feather stuck in there that was pricking her! Most of the time these things have very simple explanations. And your vulva looks perfectly normal apart from some slight reddening of the hood of your clitoris, which, like i said, is most likely from cut (that may be too small to see) getting infected. Make sure you have clean hands before you masturbate.

I dont know why im so stressed now. My clitoris had swelled up more and I have been putting the coconut oil on it, and i think its making it worse. My discharge this morning was like a light green color, and im not for sure why. When I did put my finger inside of my vagina a few days ago, I wasnt masturbating, just to check i believe I scraped the inside of my vagina and when I urinate it has been sore. I'm just going to leave it alone until i can be seen.

Some women find coconut oil doesnt agree with them, best stop using it. Best just leave everything alone until you can be seen.

But dont get yourself worked up in the meantime - it is probably something very simple and treatable.

I'll try not to. I'm going to go to prompt care tomorrow night to get everything checked out. And thanks again, I can be a worry wort.

UPDATE: I went to prompt care and they found bacteria in my urine, but I'm still waiting for my vaginal culture results to come back 😃. They are still pending.
