Burning inside vulva

Posted , 2 users are following.

I have some burning in my vulva area that has lasted for about three days. No uti symptoms, my pee is normal and doesn't hurt at all.

I managed to take a look at myself down there and it's very red like its irritated and some white discharge.

Could this have been cause by wearing and walking around in skinny jeans three days in a row, eight hours each day?

Could it be a yeast infection as I've just finished three separate courses of antibiotics for a uti I finally got rid of?

Any opinion is more than welcome, thank you!

i doubt its of any concern, it could be a yeast infection or vaginal smegma, and if you were on antibiotics it could be a yeast infection that you diddnt fully get rid of, id recommend to post a picture of the discharge and explain more on what you mean by three separate courses

When I take antibiotics I get a vaginal yeast infection, always. Antibiotics kill the good bacteria as well as the bad and upset the internal balance thereby causing an environment favourable for the overgrowth of yeast. I also get red and sore with yeast infections and often, but not always, get a thick white discharge. I would treat it as a yeast infection and take a single oral fluconazole 150mg tablet. If it doesn’t start to clear up within a couple of days you can take another 3 days later. I now avoid taking antibiotics - I’d rather let my body deal with the infection than have the infection and a yeast infection. If antibiotics are unavoidable then I take fluconazole at the same time.
