I had the same problem. I went to several doctors before I discovered it was acid reflux. My mouth and tongue burnt all the time. my doctor prescribed me PPIs for reflux. I was on them for six months with no relief. I finally elected to have the linx surgery and this seem to cure my problem. Sometimes the acid The acid in your stomach comes up so quickly it bypasses your esophagus and just gets to your mouth and tongue. Check into the links surgery with your doctor and see if he thinks that might help you. By the way I also had a hiatal hernia which I had repaired at the time of the surgery. Hope this helps
