Burning leg

Hi all,, over the past 2 days my right leg has started to feel heavy and has a burning feel to it, plus I've stiffened up a bit!!! I have a rheumatology appointment on Thuesday so I will wait to see him. However I wondered if anyone on here have experienced the same! On 10mg Pred, also had a mild cold of late

    Couple of options.

    Vit D deficiency - if you are in the UK I would not be supprised as August was poor sunshine and the daylight hours are reducing..

    Could be it's just reminding you the PMR is still there as you are close to the maintaince dose and a cold or any other 'stress' could cause problems.

      Hello John, yes I totally agree with you, just when you forget you've got PMR, it shows its head by biting you on the bum!!!,,, saying I'm still here!!! Xx
