My restless legs progressed to, Periodic Leg Movement (PLM). The movement wakes me, I have tried lots of things, laying on my stomaache, putting my leg into the sing with very cold water, splashing on my legs. I did find that I was alergic to the juices in carrots, as I had terrible itching after peeling carrots. I eat quite a lot if carrots. I had wondered weather also my carrot eating, would effect me resting. I have had far less problems since I did this. I now wonder if you could find something you may be eating does not agree with you. Just an idea. I hope you find out what is causing your RLS.

Hello Gardy. GP's use medication as a last resort it seems. Dopamine agonists are used such as Pramapexole and Ropinerole. There is also patches that can be worn. You could perhaps try one of these. I use Pramapexole and it seems to work mostly but not always. Aneamia and caffienne seems to be implicated so perhaps it may help you to address these. I hope this helps.
