Voltaren Gel (diclofenac) is the #1 topical anti-inflammatory. Use it up to 4X/day...especially at bedtime. RX in the US; OTC elsewhere. Beware of naproxen long-term. NSAIDs should not be used for more than 10 days or they can start eating through your stomach.

If you've already done cortisone and then hyaluronic acid shots for your knee (orthos start with those), the next modality is COOLIEF (Cooled Radiofrequency Ablation). This is a 15-minute, FDA-approved procedure for severe osteoarthritis in joints done under sedation. If successful, patients report anywhere from one to two years of relief...and then they do it again just to avoid the last station on this train...the dreaded TKR.

I had one knee replaced before I found out about COOLIEF; I will absolutely do it when #2 starts acting up. Go to the COOLIEF website for more information and to locate a certified doc in your area.

Could you have possibly pulled a muscle in your shoulder? If not, it could just be arthritis, which can cause some pain in the limbs. Do you take any OTC pain meds for it? I think you should call and make a doctor appointment and get a full physical. That should ease your mind. I hope the pain ceases and that you have good health . I got these suggetion from la clinica ,thanks
