Burning sensation during sex

I'm 20 years old and I've been having this burning sensation during sex for almost 2 months now. It all started in the beginning of May, when i had a vaginal yeast infection (it happend for the first time in my life and before that I didn't have any problems with my sex life). I went to my gynecologist and I was prescribed Gyno Dactarin (vaginal globules and cream). All the symptoms were gone in a couple of days and my yeast infection was cured. But when my boyfriend and I tried to have sex (couple of days after the treatment), I was feeling burning pain and therefore we had to stop. I went to the gynocologist again and she send me to dermatologist because I had a inflammation of my external genitalia (vulva). She prescribed Locoidon cream which I used for 7 days and then I went to the doctor again to make sure that everything is O.K. Everything looked fine, but when I tried to have sex, the burning sensation was still there (it is present mostly at the opening of the vagina and in the beginning, I also often feel sort of a tightening feeling during thrusting). I went to the gynecologist for 2 more times, but everything looked fine and there was no infection or inflammation, so she didn't do anything about it. She just suggested that we should wait for a couple of days before having sex again and that I should use some lube. We did all of that (we even had a break from the sex for more than 2 weeks), but nothing seems to help and the lube only reduces the problem a little bit, but the burning pain is still there. I should mention that we don't use condoms, because I'm on the pill, but we did try to use them and it didn't make any difference. I really don't know what to do anymore, so I was wondering if any of you had any idea how to get rid of this problem.

Thanks for the comments smile

I just read everyone’s comments! I didn’t realise people had posted suggestions. I’m going to try going off the pill for a longer period of time and maybe have my doctor look into the estrogen levels

HI. I read this post a month ago. N felt more disappointed as no one here get  cure.

This same problem happen to me 1 year ago, before it was fine. When ever my husband try to enter I felt pain and burning inside and almost every time I stop him. I had visited plenty of doctors and try out many test but nothing.

A month ago we visited a doctor. She suggest almond oil as lubricant and said use as much as possible during sex. Beside this she gave me some medicated lubricant to put inside by a tube for 2 week continuously.  I follow this. now I am almost 90% recovered. Only feel burning very rare specially if some time my Husband did not use almond oil. She also suggest to make your body and mind feel relax before and during sex. Now Every time My Husband just make it of oil and we Enjoy. smile

I suggest to try out almond oil as lubricant. If some one would like. I can tell her other medicated lubricant if you can found in local store.

Hey Kat, wondering if anything has changed after a year later... I'm a 17 yr old girl looking for a solution of having this pain in my vagina...I have had many sex partners I didn't use a condom with all of them.. I've been checked for STDs and stis and nothing... I had a yeast Infection before I started having this pain before sex... I got the yeast infection taken care of...then had sex with few guys...then realized my vagina would start feeling weird in the beginning when they'd put their dick in...once they were in I was fine...just had to adjust to thr pain a lil... But I'm worried it will never go away...I am not on birth control... And the yeast Infection has been cleared up. Just hoping go find answers to this pain...praying it goes away soon

    Hello Kat1234

Just wanted to know if you’ve obtained any treatment and if so what worked for you? I’m experienced the same symptoms after a UTI and it’s been over 2 months now.
