It sounds like neuropathy, I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet and it is always a burning prickly feeling. The doctors put me on gabapentin and baclofen but those don't help with pain and the doctors won't give me anything different. I have also been on lyrica and cymbalta which made things much worse.
