Burning when peeing with BV??

So a few weeks ago I decided to take a boric acid suppository. ever since then began very irritating burning in my vagina especially when urinating which lingers for a while after peeing.... tested myself for yeast , bv, and trich. i came up positive for gardnerella infection (BV). i dont have a uti as nothing grew on my urine culture. This has been really stressful and concerning for me... im on my second pill of flagyl and seriously hoping this goes away.... has anyone experienced this??
