Burnout, Breakdown, Anxiety or Depression?? Some advice would be very helpful.

Hi there. I'm a 26 year old guy from Albania. I've suffered for about 6 years from Anxiety. The first time it came out of the blue. I had the most terrible experience ever. I was just chilling and a hard derealization-depersonalization just hit me and I thought I was losing my mind. After many consults with various doctors( I wouldn't trust they were telling the truth, I used to think they don't have the idea what my problem is, that they are incompetent) I came to a manageable state of the anxiety. Then after 4 years I had a relapse. Felt like a nervous breakdown. I passed that and I still suffered anxiety symptoms on the regular basis but there were good days or weeks and bad days.

This time I just quit a job for a new one, had some problems with the old job boss, my mother broke my leg, I felt unhappy with my relationship, and I felt as the problems were just getting more and more. After a hard day, after I had slept for just 2-3 hours and had to wake up for work(call center) I just didnt have the mental force to do anything. Now its been a month and I feel like this isn't going away just getting stronger.

Symptoms: Head pressure(forehead mostly) burning sensation, neck tightness, back tightness, I get irritated easily, the smallest thing, even things I like doing like going out feel like a big thing.

Even having a conversation feels like it requires all my power.

Hope you can give me an answer, if my problem isn't well described please ask me to explain it further.

    Hi,

Sorry to hear you are feeling like this, it sounds like the anxiety has overwhelmed you, I have had this a couple of times in my life, where it felt like I just couldn't cope.

Do you have access to a therapist? someone you can talk to?

If not, I will tell you what I was told to do and it worked for me.

Establish a routine for every day. For example, wake up at 7, exercise, have breakfast, shower, go to work....like this for every hour of the day and follow it 100%. This allows for the brain and the body to calm down because you are not thinking about what you should be doing, you are simply doing.

This routine should include exercise, healthy diet and 30 mins a day of meditation (puzzles or mandalas are also a valid way of meditation).

If you have any questions let me know. Best of luck! And don't worry, you WILL get better
